Apple Released An Update To OS X And Safari For Spyware Exploit

Apple released a critical security update for OS X versions and Safari browser on Thursday after finding the spyware exploit in its desktop operating system. The vulnerability was found a week ago in its iOS software, that permit attackers to remotely take control of a device.

The update for OS X v10.11.6 (El Capitan) and v10.10.5 (Yosemite) comes a week after web security specialists found a noticeable Arab activists iPhone was being targeted by exploiting three previously obscure vulnerabilities in Apple's mobile software. Apple reacted soon by launching an update to the version of iOS 9.3.5.

The same vulnerabilities appeared in OS X in light of the fact that the desktop and mobile versions forms of the Safari program share a significant part of the same code base. In its counseling, Macintosh cautioned that visiting a "maliciously made site" through its Safari browser could permit attackers to execute subjective code on a victim's PC.
