Gionee Unveils S6 Pro Smartphone For Rs 23,999

Gionee has launched its new smartphone S6 Pro in India at a cost of Rs. 23,999. The Gionee S6 Pro smartphone will be available from October 1 across all retail stores in Gold and Rose Gold color shadings. On the purchase of the S6 Pro smartphone, the company is providing three months free subscription to Saavn Pro music streaming service.
The company has rolled out the new Split Screen feature on the S6 Pro, which allows users to work on two screens simultaneously. The device comes with apps like Desktop Editor, Image+ to record amazing things, Video Editor, Video Beautification, Time Lapse, and Text Recognition.
Coming to specifications, the S6 Pro features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display with 2.5D curved edge. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is a 64GB internal storage supporting 128GB microSD card to expand the storage. It runs Amigo 3.2 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and sports metallic unibody with a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button. Another highlight of the device is that it comes with USB Type-C charging slot.
The S6 Pro is packed with a 3130mAh battery, 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera with front flash. The connectivity options include 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS and VoLTE connectivity options. The company has also unveiled its first VR headset in the country, priced at Rs. 2,499.
