MobiKwik Partners With NHAI For Toll Payments In India

Mobikwik, mobile wallet and online payment system has received an approved from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to receive payments at 391 toll plazas in India.
Bipin Preet Singh, co-founder of the company said,
The cashless payment service via Mobikwik was introduced to avoid traffic congestion due to cash crunch. And commuters across the country can pay cashless at all toll plazas.
After Government announcement of scrapping old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes on November 8, NHAI has announced that there will no charge at all toll plazas till December 2, 2016.
To pay the toll payment, commuters have to open MobiKwik app on their phone and scan the QR code at the toll plaza. After entering the amount and the vehicle number, they can press Pay to complete the transaction.
