Xiaomi Unveils Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner In China

The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is showing more interest in customer electronics. On Wednesday, the company has presented a Mi Robot Vacuum cleaner in its Mi Ecosystem.
This Mi Robot Vacuum cleaner utilizes a Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) which allows it to scan its surroundings in 360 degrees, up to 1800 times each second. The device is outfitted with an arrangement of Xiaomi-style headways that allows it to clean your home rapidly and effectively.
Mi Robot Vacuum uses a fitted Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm to map the layout of the land and calculate the best cleaning way. For smoother cleaning, the Mi Robot Vacuum is utilizing intense nidec brushless DC engine (which delivers up to 1800Pa air pressure).
Like other Mi Ecosystem products, Mi Robot Vacuum cleaner pairs with the Mi Home application. It can be controlled remotely where users can control it, and it likewise gives you a chance to set cleaning schedules.
The Mi Robot runs with three committed processors and a sum of four CPU cores for real-time mapping and positioning. The device comes with a 5200mAh battery which can works up to 2.5 hours of cleaning on a single charge. Additionally, it highlights smart return feature which conveys the Mi Robot Vacuum to come to its charging dock when the battery is going to pass on.
Mi Robot Vacuum will be available in China beginning from September 6 for CNY 1699 (around $255) on Mi.com and Mi Home stores in China.The company has not yet announced when it will be available to other countries.
