Lava A97 Launched With Android 6.0 Marshmallow At Rs 5949

Lava has unveiled a new A-series smartphone in India at Rs 5,949, the A97. The smartphone is now listed on the company's site and can be expected to be available on all stores soon.

The Lava A97 features a 5-inch TFT display. 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 4G VoLTE and dual-SIM (but only on one SIM card at a time).

It sports a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera with LED flash on the both the sides. The storage of Lava A97 can be expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It is packed by a 2350mAh battery, and the connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS. The smartphone will be available in Blue, Gold, and Grey color variants.

The handset maker earlier this month, ahead of the festive season announced a one-time screen replacement offer to customers valid for a duration of 365 days. The offer was announced for all the Lava mobiles purchased between September 15 and November 15 (both days inclusive).
