OPPO R9 smartphone was the companies best-seller for the current year in China, with more than 10 million units being sold in the previous couple of months. Now, the company is looking forward to launch OPPO R9S, the successor of R9 model and it would seem that the launch may be much nearer than we suspected.
The OPPO R9S is expected to launch on September 12, next Monday. The new device is said to include Super VOOC ultra-quick charging feature, which it initially flaunted at MWC Barcelona. This feature is not the main highlight of the device, but it will include a special No Antenna Band design.
Coming the specs, the OPPO R9S will apparently accompany the Snapdragon 625 chipset rather than Helio P10. The display size would be same, 5.5-inch (FHD) and at the front there is a 16MP camera shooter while at the back a 13MP sensor. Other features include 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), 2850mAh battery and a hybrid slot which supports either single SIM card with micro-SD card or dual-SIM's.
