How To Check System Information On Your Computer

Knowing the information of your system will help you in taking decisions when installing a hardware or software or purchasing a new one. You can check your system information using just in a simple steps, all you need to know is where and how to look.

There are two methods which will take you to the System Summary page. The page includes categories and subcategories such as Hardware Resources, Memory, Components, CD-ROM, Display, Storage, USB, Software Environment, System Drivers, Startup Programs, Windows Error Reporting and more.

Method 1:

  1. Move on to Start > Run
  2. Type MsInfo32
  3. Click Ok.

Method 2:

  1. Click on Start
  2. Search for System Information
  3. And click to see the same window which appeared on method 1.
