Samsung Introduces 256GB MicroSD Card And A Dual Drive In India

The flash storage company, SanDisk has launched two new products in India - the 256GB SanDisk Ultra microSD card, and the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive 3.0 pen drive.
The new 256GB microSD card will be available exclusively in India via Amazon.in starting from December 2016, priced at Rs. 13,390. It will later be available globally soon. It would be a high-capacity storage expansion option for an Android or other portable devices. The drive can transfer data at a speed of 95 MBps when connected via USB port, The card is also designed to be waterproof, shockproof, temperature proof and x-ray proof.
The Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 is also aimed at Android smartphone users featuring two physical connectors - standard USB 3.0 Type-A and a Micro-USB. The designs allows USB-OTG functionality to compatible with Android devices as well as easy sharing and transferring files between the device and PC. It will be available in data range starting from 16GB to 128GB and transfer speeds up to 150MBps when using the USB 3.0 connector. The drive will be exclusive available via Flipkart at first starting from Rs. 650 for the 16GB model and Rs. 3,600 for 128GB.
Both products can be used with SanDisk's memory zone app (Android), which lets users to browse and back up their data.
