Google Play Store Offers Carrier Billing For Airtel, Vodafone Users

Google Play to start supporting payments from Airtel and Vodafone (postpaid) users in India to buy everything in it. However, the carriers aren’t listed on the Play billing page as of now.

According to Android Police,
Deployment to Airtel and Vodafone, probably still a work in progress.
Google has introduced the carrier billing first for Idea customers and now it its going to launch for Vodafone and Airtel users in India.

Addition to this carrier billing, customers can easily buy apps, books, movies and songs directly from the Google Play Store. Apart from this, you can also use Debit/Credit cards, Play Store gift cards, and Netbanking as a payment method in India.

The app, books, movies etc purchased amount will be deducted from monthly bills of a postpaid. Prepaid use through their phone balance. Users on postpaid plans will see purchases on their billing statements under Google Play purchases category.
