Xiaomi Unveils Mi VR Play And Mi Live App In India

The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi on Monday has made its first entry into Virtual Reality headset with new Mi VR Play and live-streaming Mi Live app in India.
The brand new Mi VR Play is a lightweight device that is certified to work with Google Cardboard apps. The device is an entry-level product from the company that seeks to bring the VR experience to all the users. It comes with a two-way zipper that opens up to hold any 4.7 - 5.7 inch smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi VR Play will be exclusively available from Mi.com and other offline retailers starting from 21 December 2016, priced at Rs 999.
Xiaomi said in a statement.
Mi VR Play is going to set a huge impact in India where VR is still in its infancy.While Mi Live app is the only live-streaming app that support VR live streaming in India. The app is available for Android users only via Google Play Store.
