iOS 10 has gained more popularity these days and all the iPhone, iPad or iPod users have begun updating their devices. With iOS 10, 3D Touch has got even more functionality, yet people are still discovering functionality that has seemingly been there, in some form, since iOS 9.
Recently, a Reddit user has posted out that by using 3D Touch exporting various images, documents, and web pages as PDFs are easier now.
Essentially, using 3D Touch allows you to export anything from iOS as a PDF with the 'Print to PDF' function that has been available on desktops for years.
Follow the steps below to export your files to PDF
- Open any image, web page or document that you want to 'Print'.
- Tap on the 'Share' icon.
- Scroll down until you see the 'Print' button and tap on it.
- Does not matter if a printer is selected, use 3D Touch gesture Peek to preview the document.
- Press harder to make the gesture 'Pop' into the full document.
- Now select the 'Share' icon and here you can choose from the normal list of services and export the file as a PDF.
Try the new feature on your device and let us know how your experience in the comment section below was.
