Kodak Launches Ektra Smartphone With 21 MP DSLR-Like Camera In Europe

Kodak, a well known image and photography brand has now come up with a new camera-centered smartphone, Ektra in European market. The smartphone features a giant camera lens at the back that comes with DSLR-like modes and features priced at €499 (around Rs. 36,800).
The smartphone features its lens with a metal ring to protect it from wear and tear. The device sports a 21MP Sony camera sensor (IMX230) with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) with dual-LED Flash and comes with a 13MP front camera for selfies.
The camera app has a digital Scene Selection Dial providing access to different shooting modes as Manual, Landscape, Sports, Macro which is familiar to anyone who still loves the Kodak brand. The Kodak Ektra comes with a widget that recommends many photo-editing apps like Prisma , Adobe Lightroom and etc. whereas Snapseed comes installed by default.
The other specifications of Ektra includes a 5-inch FHD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD. The device highlights itself with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the smartphone. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery with a Helio X-20 Deca-Core processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Its launch date for other global markets has not been revealed yet.
