Now Windows 10 Users Can Make Calls With Messenger App

Facebook giant has rolled out a new update to its Messenger app for Windows 10. This feature works just like for Android and iOS which allows users to make voice and video calls.
Until now, all the users had to open Messenger.com or Facebook.com to make voice or video calls instead of using Messenger app on Windows. But now the phone call can be done by tapping on the icon which is on the top right corner from Windows app and if the other person is active the button glows green same as Android and iOS.
When you start a call, the app asks whether the calls should use WiFi or your data plan. The data plan looks little odd because a Windows 10 PC does not have a data plan option. Currently, the Windows Phone app does not have voice and video calling but several reports say that Facebook giant has started rolling out this feature from a week ago.
In July, Facebook said 10 per cent of all Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls went through the Messenger.
